An 18 year old Wentworth youth has been remanded in custody for six weeks pending a further Victorian court appearance.

Willie Mitchell, who turned 18 a fortnight ago, was making his first appearance in open court.
He is facing a string of charges including an aggravated burglary in a house last Thursday and then theft plus a swag of traffic charges after a 1982 Ford was stolen from Cameron Avenue and become involved in a succession of damage to private
property incidents.
Mitchell is alleged to be the driver of the car which crashed into the side of a tin shed,
then hit three fences and ran over several bollards before it was abandoned in a nature reserve area near the intersection of 14th Street and Ontario Avenue.
He has been held in custody since his arrest in a house in Lilley Drive, having been found on a bed allegedly sleeping.
Charges he faces at this time include aggravated burglary, theft of a car, unlicensed driving, drink driving, criminal damage to property, resisting arrest.
No plea has been taken at this point and Mitchell is most likely to face charges in the upper court because aggravated burglary is regarded as a serious offence.
Mitchell is also wanted interstate where a recent court order restricted his movements to the state of NSW.
