The Mildura and Wentworth region will be showcased to New Zealand’s largest tourism trade show for three days from Friday.
Mildura Tourism Destination Marketing Manager, Brodie Steel, will attend OzTalk NZ in Auckland representing tourism products of the Mildura and Wentworth Regions. Willandra Houseboats will also be attending to showcase their product.
Chief Executive Officer with Mildura Tourism Rod Trowbridge said OzTalk NZ is a major industry event that specifically brings together Australian tourism products and destinations with airlines, wholesalers and retailers from around New Zealand and New Caledonia as well as a consumer day which is expected to attract 6,000 holiday-seeking Kiwis.
He said in other tourist news and in a follow-up to last year’s successful TV advertising campaigns, Mildura Tourism is about to undertake another extensive campaign throughout regional Victoria, New South Wales and South Australia as well as Adelaide and Canberra metro.
“This campaign will also air on Prime TV locally thanks to the generosity of Prime Mildura,” Mr Trowbridge said.
This campaign will run in most markets from March 14 until the end of June 2010
