A century to Shannon Bowen has taken Nursery Ridge to a premiership win over Nangiloc in the Red Cliffs Cricket Association A Grade Grand Final at the weekend.

Nursery Ridge won the toss and bowled. At tea Nangiloc were 5/81 with Cameron Peters 51no. Then the collapse happened all out 116 in the 50th over (Cameron Peters 66, Peter Wight 19. Shannon Bowen 6/33 off 15 overs, Noel Douglass 2/17 off 8 overs.)
Nursery Ridge started well but then lost two wickets on 26, then finished the day on 3/40 off 18 overs. (Anthony Shaw 18, Shannon Bowen 7no.) Nursery Ridge continued on Sunday only loosing one more wicket in passing the Nangiloc score. Shannon Bowen & Frank Dichiera put on a partnership of 135 for the 4th wicket before Frank was caught on the boundary for 49, Shannon went on to reach his century and was 112 at tea when Nangiloc conceded.
