The National Broadcast Network Co (NBN) will be bringing their Discovery Truck to Centro car park in Mildura on Tuesday and Wednesday March 20-21.
The NBN4 Mildura-Wentworth Committee chairperson Jenny Grigg is delighted that businesses and residents will be able to see first-hand the technologies and benefits that the National Broadband Network (NBN) will deliver.
“NBN4 Mildura-Wentworth is currently developing a digital community strategy for the region that will help us lobby for early roll out of the NBN,” Ms Grigg said.
“Having the NBN Co Discovery Truck in Mildura is fantastic as people will be able to see for themselves the benefits that the NBN will bring, in particular to the health, education and business services sectors.”
“We want to encourage as many people as possible to visit the demonstration truck.”
“This will show NBN Co that we are supportive of an early roll out of the network to our region” Ms Grigg said.
“Our community is a leader in the uptake of new technologies, and in order to continue to drive innovation, we need to be able to have the infrastructure to utilise these technologies”.
