The Champion of Champions competition in Sunraysia Bowls has got down to the Semi final stage over the weekend.
The last four pairs in the competition are Marty Connors and Mark Eckel, who will play a Nangiloc combination skippered by David Goldup, while the other semi final is between Ouyen brothers Rob and Nev Jay and Irymple pair Jim Murenu and Gary Holmes.
Connors and Eckel beat Euston’s Terry Halls and Andrew Presto first and then Bruce McColl and Brian Quigley, while Goldup had a bye and thenm had a win over Underbool.
To make the semi finals Rob and Nev Jay had to toss for a last end and then beat Andrew Taylor and Fred Bacon.
Murenu and Holmes also had to play two games but have come through to the semi finals.
