The tourism and heritage award winning Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway will run a Ulysses Club Special for the visiting bikers on Tuesday March 27.

The train will operate on the half hour from 1pm to 4pm or longer if necessary from its Karadoc Station which is easily identifiable from the Calder Highway.
Cost per ride is $15 per family, $6 per adult and $3 per child.
For visiting steam train buffs, a trip on the steam train is a must.
The locomotive “Lukee” , which is a Kerr Stuart “Skylark” Class, Maker’s Number 742 of 1901 is the last surviving locomotive of its class in operation in the world today.
A sister locomotive, Maker’s Number 717 of 1900, “Princess” worked on Scotland’s only public narrow-gauge railway, but the Class became extinct back in 1960.
The engine was brought to the district from South Australia on the Paddle Steamer, Renmark in 1924.
It originally operated as a coal train, running briquettes from the Red Cliffs railway siding down to the pumping station, and today is operated as a tourist train for the benefit of locals and tourists alike.
The railway station is also of interest.   It has been listed as a heritage building as it is an important example of a portable station building, being one of only two intact examples of its type left in Victoria.
It was removed from Irymple out to the Steam Railway and was restored by the Railway members.
Souvenirs, cold drinks and specially printed train tickets will be on sale, Tuesday.
On Sunday April 1 the Red Cliffs Historical Steam Railway will operate its usual monthly run.
A continuous BBQ, morning and afternoon teas will be available on the station.
Join the Fat Controller and come along for a steam train ride next Sunday.
The train operates on the half hour commencing at 11am with the last run at 3.30pm.
The Steam train is also seeking donations of wood to fire the steam engine, and if anyone has old trellis posts or any type of wood available would you please ring Mal Hopkins on 50291388 after hours.
Any enquiries please ring Mary on 5024 1345 and on Tuesday afternoon and Sunday only to the station on 5024.3814.
